Cricket Without Borders

Melbourne, Victoria

Cricket without Borders (CWOB) is a project giving women from regional Australia the opportunity to play cricket on an International stage. The women involved all play for their own club teams but come together when they represent CWOB. This tour offers girls & women across metropolitan and regional Victoria the opportunity and cultural experience to play and participate in community coaching outside Australia.

CWOB took its first international tour to England in 2011 to offer much-needed opportunity for girls & women to experience playing and coaching outside Australia. The success of the first tour lead to subsequent tours to Singapore, Darwin, Japan, Fiji, and Samoa. For many of the players selected to represent CWOB, it will be their first cricket experience outside Australia. It is their contributions off-the-field (in the form of grassroots coaching in communities and school visit) that will prove to be invaluable.
